• “To better serve our customers by reducing shipping costs and transit times”
A 30,000 square foot Class A industrial building and approximately two acres of land in Stockton has been purchased by Shepard Bros. Inc.
The company says it plans to begin distribution and warehousing activities in March and manufacturing operations by the end of June.
"This new facility will provide an opportunity for Shepard Bros. to better serve our customers by reducing shipping costs and transit times as well as expand our manufacturing capacity," says Ron Shepard, CEO of Shepard Bros.
The company was assisted in getting the location by the San Joaquin Partnership. Tyson Vallenari with CBRE represented the buyer. Mike Goldstein and Wes Widmer of Colliers International represented the owner.
"Stockton offers Shepard Bros. a superior transportation network with easy access to customers in Northern and Central California, a rapidly growing market for agricultural production, food and beverage processing,” says San Joaquin Partnership President and CEO Mike Ammann.
Shepard Bros. is headquartered in La Habra and sells chemicals, equipment and services to the food and beverage, water treatment, commercial laundry and specialty industrial markets.
