TURLOCK –
Office morale is up! At least at the best places to work in the Central Valley
it is.
Recently,
Opportunity Stanislaus announced the Best Places to Work: Central Valley, and
lauded the companies that work to grow the local economy with their Celebrate
Stanislaus honors.
Best Places
to Work: Central Valley is a program that surveys companies that are eligible
and wish to participate. They must be located in Merced, San Joaquin or
Stanislaus counties, have been in business for at least a year and have no less
than 15 full- or part-time permanent employees.
At the
Dustbowl Brewing Company in Turlock on April 12, Opportunity Stanislaus
announced the list of companies that results of a recent survey deemed “best”
to work for in the Central Valley. Those companies are:
Ambeck

“Best
Places to Work is a national program that evaluates companies based on
indicators such as wages, benefits, company culture and employee feedback and
all of these factors generate a ranking and determine whether or not they
qualify to be a best place to work,” David White, CEO of Opportunity Stanislaus
said. “I’d be lying if I said it was easy. Not everyone makes the cut. We went
through the process ourselves and while we earned the distinction, we did learn
about some areas where we could improve.”
White went
on to say his organization believes that area companies will benefit from the
Best Companies program “as they shore up their attraction and retention
efforts.”
Along with
Best Companies, the organization recognized those companies in Stanislaus County
that added jobs and contributed to local economic growth.
“A key part
of a healthy economy is new jobs and Opportunity Stanislaus is proud to be
involved in helping employers connect with jobseekers locally,” White said. “We
work throughout the year to bolster job creation and Celebrate Stanislaus is
our way of saying thank you to those companies that did their part to grow the
economy.”
