Insurance company recruiting for Stockton office

New York Life’s Stockton General Office is planning to increase its field force by adding 20 new agents over the next six months, it says Monday.

“Overall, it’s a high-potential career path that makes you feel good about what you do: helping people achieve their financial goals and dreams,” says Mychael Nguyen, managing partner of the Stockton General Office.

He says in 2014 nearly two-thirds of the new agent hires for the office were women or minorities. “We remain committed to hiring and supporting women and individuals serving the African-American, Chinese, Hispanic, Korean, South Asian, and Vietnamese markets in the United States,” he says.

New York Life, which says it’s the largest mutual life insurance company in the United States, celebrated its 170th anniversary this year, and has been doing business in California since 1859.
