Fresno's Barney Butter top Valley firm on Inc. 5000 list

Barney Butter, maker of almond butter and other products, reported revenue growth of 553 percent from 2011 to 2014, adding 25 new jobs in the period. The firm, founded in 2008, enjoyed revenue of $13.1 million last year, garnering a rank of No. 804 on the list.

Last year, Barney Butter's rank was 684. The company employs 50 people.

Fresno's Integrated Prescription Management, which manages pharmaceutical prescriptions for its customers, made it to No. 1,515, growing its revenues 271 percent from 2011 to 2014.

Founded in 2009, IPM reported $78.4 million in revenue last year. It was ranked 1,221 last year, and has 36 employees, with 23 added from 2011 to 2014.

In 2013, IPM reached a high of No. 380 on the list.

Fresno's NMP Insurance services saw 236 percent growth from 2011 to 2014 for a ranking of 1,721. It added 20 new jobs in the period, and reported $4.3 million in revenue last year.

NMP Insurance, founded in 2010, employs 32.

NMP Insurance earned a rank of No. 17 in the Inc. 5000 category of Top Insurance Companies. NMP is an acronym for "Name My Premium."

Visalia-based physical therapy provider Pro-PT earned the No. 2,749 spot on the list with 3-year growth of 132 percent last year for revenue of $5.2 million.

The firm added 50 jobs in the last year years, and employs 75 people. It was founded in 2001.

Last year, Pro-PT was ranked 3,285.

At No. 4,238, Oakhurst-based chain restaurant Pizza Factory saw 65 percent growth, reporting $3.1 million in revenue last year. Founded in 1979, Pizza Factory added 60 jobs from 2011 to 2014, for a total of 210 employees.

Pizza Factory was previously ranked 3,438 last year.

At No. 4,290, Fresno's BCT Consulting reported 3-year revenue growth of 64 percent, with $5.8 million in revenue last year. The IT services firm, founded in 1996, added 21 jobs from 2011 to 2014, and employs 47.

Inc. 5000 honored BCT Consulting for being a five-time honoree dating back to 2010.

Worth noting is San Luis Obispo-based moving company Meathead Movers, which opened a Fresno office earlier this year. The company came in at No. 3,153 with growth of 109 percent and revenue of $8.2 million last year. It added 55 jobs between 2011 and 2014, employing a total of 235.

Each year Inc. Magazine produces a list of the 5,000 fastest-growing U.S. companies, ranking them by 3-year revenue growth. This year was the 34th annual list.
